Catwalk Look Coat Recreation

This project objective was to recreate a catwalk look coat. I chose to recreate a coat from Marc Jacobs’ 2020 Fall Ready to Wear line. Multiple deliverables were required including drafting technical flats, draping the coat onto a muslin sample, drafting facing and lining patterns, completing paper patterns, to final cutting and constructing the look in my choice of fabric. Facings and linings were added and seam finishes were applied. The final recreation was modeled for photos and presented on a dress form.
